Ta Xua Peak: A haven for adventure seekers

Located in a mountainous province in Northern Vietnam, Ta Xua Peak, known as the Dinosaur’s Backbone, is a must-visit destination for travel enthusiasts due to its exquisite beauty and picture-perfect natural landscapes.

[rpi]

For those who have a true passion for adventure activity, a visit to the magnificent peak of Ta Xua is not to be missed. You will be not only fascinated by the spectacular natural surroundings but also overwhelmed by the amazing variety of challenging experiences. Taking a stroll around the mountaintop whilst admiring the fluffy white clouds will make you feel like you have reached heaven on earth.

Wanderlust Tips Magazine | Ta Xua Peak: A haven for adventure seekers

Located in Bac Yen District, Son La Province and about 220km from Hanoi, Ta Xua mountain range is majestically formed by three uniquely-shaped peaks that resemble the back of a dinosaur and the head of a turtle. Notably, the highest point sits at 2,865m and is known as the 10th highest mountain in Vietnam. This imposing wonder is a popular travel attraction for those who are passionate about climbing mountains in Vietnam.

Wanderlust Tips Magazine | Ta Xua Peak: A haven for adventure seekers

Additionally, Ta Xua Peak is also the perfect place to get a mesmerising view of the clouds. If you are interested in experiencing the peaks enshrouded in fluffy white clouds, then take a trip between December and March. You can depart from Ta Xua Village or from Bac Yen District to climb the infamous “Dinosaur’s Backbone”. Please be aware that this journey is extremely dangerous and challenging due to the vast array of hair-raising windy roads.

The climb to Ta Xua Peak is a challenge for newcomers as you will have to traverse lots of windy roads. However, once you reach the mountaintop, you will be able to appreciate the beauty of your natural surroundings, the vastness of the sky and the softness of the clouds. This trip will be one of the most fun-filled and unforgettable memories of your life.

Wanderlust Tips Magazine | Ta Xua Peak: A haven for adventure seekers

The scenery in Ta Xua is extremely impressive and its ethereal charm completely depends on the local weather. You will have the best view of the unique cloud formations when it is cold and drizzling at nighttime and sunny in the daytime. Thus, before travelling to Ta Xua, you must carefully check the forecast.

Ta Xua Commune is located high up in the mountains, thus, the living conditions here are sparse. Before going to Ta Xua, ensure to make a detailed plan. Be sure to pack jackets, blankets, raincoats and glasses. Aside from your personal belongings, you should also bring some food, for instance, instant noodles and bread.

Get lost in Kandy: The peaceful and scenic city of Sri Lanka

Perfectly located in the Central region of Sri Lanka, Kandy has an exquisitely ethereal beauty, especially when it rains. Wet weather makes me feel nostalgic for my time in this beautiful city that fascinated me with its beautiful scenery, peaceful pace of life and hospitable locals.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Get lost in Kandy: The peaceful and scenic city of Sri Lanka

GET LOST IN KANDY

As the second-largest city in Sri Lanka, Kandy is a far cry from the bustling and dynamic capital of Colombo with its idyllic and serene ambience. When I arrived in Kandy, it rained sporadically all day, clearing the air and refreshing the surrounding environment. Looking out over the city, the tree-lined roads and streets are packed with many different types of vehicles, people slowly going about their daily lives and dogs lazing around. I was met with the same scene every day in Kandy, but oddly, I did not tire of the view.

The beauty of Kandy has always intrigued me and made me want to visit Sri Lanka. Travelling through many modern and flashy places has allowed me to understand and appreciate the simple beauty of this unique country. Kandy provides an exclusive cultural context that you can see in both its long rows of greenery and its beautiful winding alleys. With the inconsistency in the weather, I was always prepared for the rain in Kandy, making sure to always carry my umbrella. I meandered downtown catching sight of colourful fruit stalls, opulent jewellery stores and small sidewalk eateries. It took me nearly a full day to travel around the city, but it was well worth it as the people of Kandy are so gentle and kind-hearted. Whatever my preconceptions of the people of Sri Lanka, I was proven wrong. The local people are hospitable, gentle and enthusiastic, they always greet visitors with warm smiles and will go above and beyond to help in any way they can.

I had such a strong first impression of Kandy thanks to the breathtaking landscapes and warmness of the local people that I was soon asking myself how I could have only allowed two days for my visit to the city.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Get lost in Kandy: The peaceful and scenic city of Sri Lanka

Your trip to Kandy would not be complete without visiting the infamous Temple of the Tooth. Commonly called Sri Dalada Maligawa, the place is known for being a signature Buddhist icon in Sri Lanka. Situated along the romantic Kandy Lake, the white architecture of the Temple of the Tooth fascinated me. After passing through stringent security, rather similar to that at the airport,  I bought a ticket to visit the temple, which has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.

Walking barefoot on the brick floor inside the temple, I was astounded by the delicacy and meticulousness of the interior. Known as a sacred pilgrimage destination for both Sri Lankan and international Buddhists, the temple is best known for being home to the Buddha Tooth Relic. According to Sri Lankan legend, the Buddha Tooth Relic was preserved in Kalinga, India, but it was threatened by Hindu forces. Therefore, the king gave the Buddha Tooth Relic to Princess Hemamali who hid the precious artefact in her hair. When she finally arrived in Sri Lanka, she decided to give the Buddha Tooth Relic to the King of Sri Lanka. Since then, the relic has become a significant national treasure of Sri Lanka.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Get lost in Kandy: The peaceful and scenic city of Sri Lanka

I vividly remember taking an afternoon stroll around the famous Temple of the Tooth and being able to appreciate the 360-degree view of the houses surrounding the alluring Kandy Lake. Everything about Sri Lanka was absolutely delightful and ever since my departure from the beautiful island, the image of a peaceful Kandy still fills my heart.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Get lost in Kandy: The peaceful and scenic city of Sri Lanka

Kandy is considered to be a paradise for tea drinkers as it offers a vast array of famous fresh Sri Lankan tea. On my last day in Kandy, despite the rainfall, my journey to the tea hills was not interrupted. I marvelled in awe over the lush green tea plantations along the rolling hillside and then was once again overwhelmed by the tranquillity and serenity exuding from the Kandy countryside.

Whenever I think of Sri Lankan women gathering delicate tea leaves, beautiful melodies dance around in my head. Remembering my time in Sri Lanka conjures an idyllic, joyful and beautiful picture about the working life of the local people. I have to admit that the gentle flavours of Kandy tea bring endless joy to my heart. The Sri Lankan tea plantation tour was quite short, but my companions and I bought all kinds of tea in Kandy, not only to savour the world’s best tea but also so that we could share with our friends the signature taste of the Sri Lankan tea.

My two days in Kandy passed quickly, I said goodbye with a heavy heart to a city that is home to such a cool atmosphere, peaceful nature and friendly people. Kandy was just one of the destinations on my Sri Lanka travel itinerary, but it made an unforgettable impression on me. Most importantly, the city completely made me relax and feel at peace without any worry. If I could have one wish right now, then I would wish for a cup of tea on a hillside whilst watching a spectacular sunset across the city of Kandy.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Quy Nhon conjures an amazing picture in my mind

Quy Nhon conjures an amazing picture in my mind

Life is colourfully beautiful and brings us many experiences. The more we travel, the more we discover how exhilarating and interesting our lives are. There is no need to go far, there is an ample amount to explore right here in Vietnam, experiences to have, hospitable people to meet and an infectious way of life to admire. Quy Nhon was top of my Vietnam bucket list. Although the trip only lasted a few days, I was mesmerised by its idyllic charm and unprecedented serenity.

[rpi]

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Quy Nhon conjures an amazing picture in my mind

QUY NHON: AN UNTOUCHED AND IDYLLIC BEAUTY

I have travelled to many popular tourist attractions around this S-shaped land, but my heart belongs to a pristine region in Binh Dinh, Central Vietnam. A far cry from the hustle and bustle of Nha Trang or the glamourous city of Da Nang, Binh Dinh boats an unrivalled beauty. Quy Nhon Beach and Ky Co Paradise Beach have always been must-see destinations in the area due to their jaw-dropping beauty.

Quy Nhon makes me feel something very different from many other places. A far cry from metropolitan glamour and excitement, the place is draped in epic natural surroundings. I was wholly fascinated by its quiet and tranquil beauty. The gentle curve of the endless shore which embraced the sparkling turquoise waters and reflected the clear blue sky took my breath away and brought me a great sense of comfort and clarity.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Quy Nhon conjures an amazing picture in my mind

After a stressful working day in the city, there is nothing more wonderful than escaping to Quy Nhon for several days. Interestingly, I was so blown away by Ky Co Beach that I did not want to leave. The beach was strikingly spectacular, from its idyllic setting and endless white sand to its azure waters lapping against the undulating rock formations, it is really a picturesque paradise. Taking a dip in the crystal-clear water whilst embracing the fresh air and admiring the natural surroundings brought an overwhelming sense of peace to my heart.

I have a true passion for travelling, exploring and capturing the most beautiful moments of the places I have been to. On this trip to Quy Nhon, I took the most glorious photos in Eo Gio (Wind Strait) because the place is home to a variety of gorgeous landscapes. Many people do not know about the location because of its secluded natural setting. Standing on the top of the uniquely-shaped cliffs, I could see that the small strait is bordered by two mountains that run along the coastline. I followed a pathway along the strait until the breathtaking panoramic views of Eo Gio appeared before my eyes. Time seemed to pass by slower and a sense of relaxation and tranquillity filled my heart.

AS WELL AS ITS CAPTIVATING SCENERY, QUY NHON FASCINATED ME WITH MANY EXHILARATING LOCAL EXPERIENCES

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Quy Nhon conjures an amazing picture in my mind

Aside from an abundance of magnificent scenery, Quy Nhon had me falling head over heels in love with its friendly and gracious people. I found that life is passing them by leisurely and gently. A complete contrast to the dynamic and buzzing metropolises like Hanoi and Saigon, the residents living in Quy Nhon have a more slow and leisurely life. Wherever you go, you will find people in high spirits and relaxing. Although they go to work to earn money, the way they live is so different from a Hanoian like me.

My appetite got the better of me in Quy Nhon. Banh Xeo or Vietnamese sizzling pancake is an amazing dish. It is a fact that Banh Xeo, is considered the pièce de résistance in the central provinces. There are many varieties, but the “jumping” shrimp pancake has always been my favourite. The scrumptious dish appealed to me because of its exquisite dipping sauce unique to the area.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Quy Nhon conjures an amazing picture in my mind

The recipe for making the traditional pancake in Quy Nhon incorporates fresh shrimps. Thanks to the secret recipe of the locals on Quy Nhon Beach, the pancake appeals to diners with its yellow crispy crust and aromatic filling. Additionally, you can embark on a fantastic culinary experience with an amazing diversity of popular delicacies, for instance, thin vermicelli, wormwood dumplings and sweet gruel.

Waving goodbye to Quy Nhon, I return to Hanoi with many regrets because I feel as though I have not completely explored and experienced this beautiful land. I was totally hung up on Quy Nhon due to its fresh, cool air and peaceful ambience. When I returned to Hanoi, nostalgia for the sunny and windy beach consumed my thoughts. I could not stop thinking about Quy Nhon. Has this spectacular land been under the radar for too long? Is it time to awaken the travel potential of this beautiful area?

Wanderlust Tips magazine | A glimpse of Seoul

A glimpse of Seoul

So many people, like me, have a strong desire to travel to the magnificent city of Seoul at least once in their lifetime. Seoul is truly a must-visit destination to add to your travel bucket list, where you can enjoy the captivating scenery as well as local lives whilst falling more in love with this gorgeous city.

[rpi]

Wanderlust Tips magazine | A glimpse of Seoul

Since I was in primary school, I have been passionate about drama series, live performances and the unique South Korean culture. I told myself that I would definitely visit Seoul one day. Finally, I have fulfilled my big dream. Seoul, in reality, is exactly as it is in the movies, the streets and roads of Seoul bring to life what I have seen on my screen. Seoul embodies modernity, luxury and rich culture and the Koreans always seem to be in a rush.

PEACE AND SERENITY IN THE HEART OF THE CITY

Wanderlust Tips magazine | A glimpse of Seoul

I consider myself fortunate to have had such a nice trip in November. I was lucky to still be able to catch a fleeting glimpse of the autumnal ambience, the trees were adorned with a blanket of yellow and red leaves. Then I took a wander around the ancient Ikseon-dong Hanok Street, which is renowned for its rich Korean culture, then headed towards Gyeongbokgung Palace. There is a long row of trees running along the ancient street. The leaves fell gently in the light breeze and paved the way for a chilly winter, making me feel as if I was walking in a famous romantic movie.

It would be no exaggeration to say that only when you visit Seoul, can you appreciate how beautiful the autumn in Seoul truly is. In the afternoon, my friend and I quickly pulled ourselves away from the charming boutique shops and the winding alleys through an old village by Namsan Seoul Tower for a sunset view. The bus to Namsan was busy with both Korean and international passengers, they were totally mesmerised by what they could see through the window. The city is surrounded by an amazing variety of fascinating landscapes.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | A glimpse of Seoul

When I hopped off the bus, I was extremely excited about walking along the crowded streets. There is no doubt that Namsan has always been a must-visit attraction for tourists to Korea. The pavements are lined with lush green trees and in the distance, a breathtakingly beautiful panorama of Seoul appeared before my eyes. I wonder how such an amazing area like Namsan exists in the heart of the most modern metropolis in Asia. It allowed me to be at peace and provided the space to indulge myself in charming nature and escape the hustle and bustle.

Among these popular sights, I was particularly impressed to stumble across an incredible maze of small roads where only a few people passed by. I cannot put my finger on why, but strolling along the winding roads full of residential houses and convenience stores made me realise that Seoul was more beautiful than ever. Especially because that is where I saw the first snowflakes, they gently floated into the space lit by warm streetlights and gradually settled on the ground. It was my favourite and most unforgettable moment during my time in Seoul.

SEOUL IS A BUSY AND FLASHY METROPOLIS

Wanderlust Tips magazine | A glimpse of Seoul

It would be no exaggeration to say that Seoul is the most modern, bustling and luxurious city in Asia. Aside from being an ancient and peaceful city, Seoul itself is wrapped in magnificence and luxury. As I strolled around the major roads in Kangnam District, I was really overwhelmed by Seoul’s wealth. An amazing variety of expensive shops adorned with dazzling lights stand out in the streets. The humming music echoed from a nearby bar and eye-catching large advertisements made everything in Kangnam more shimmering and appealing. I was drawn to its metropolitan glamour and enjoyed wandering around Seoul until late into the night.

After a while, I realised I was in Apgujeong-dong, which is known as the most expensive ward in Korea. It is said that the place is home to a diversity of exceptionally sumptuous styles dedicated to the elite, for instance, state-of-the-art commercial centres and two-storey apartments well-appointed with spacious gardens.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | A glimpse of Seoul

Nonetheless, I was wowed by the bustling shopping paradise of Myeong-dong. The place is home to a kaleidoscope of items, ranging from expensive to cheap. I could not help myself when it came to shopping in Seoul. Leaving Myeong-dong, we strolled around the city again to look for items to buy. Hongdae is always jam-packed with people toing and froing and popular restaurants and dynamic music buzzes from every street corner.

If you are a big fan of K-pop, then Hongdae is a must on your Korea bucket list. I was flabbergasted to see so many music groups, singers and amateur dancers performing here. After just a few steps, I could see a crowd gathered to enjoy the fascinating performances. The atmosphere was so exciting that when I waved goodbye to Seoul, the picture of a funny artist and his impressive performance in Hongdae stuck in my mind.

EMBARK ON A THRILLING CULINARY EXPERIENCE IN SEOUL

Wanderlust Tips magazine | A glimpse of Seoul

I can honestly say that I have fallen head over heels in love with Korean cuisine and only Seoul can satisfy my hunger for the delightful delicacies. Thanks to the chilling temperature of 0°C, walking along the bustling roads full of mouth-watering food stalls, I just stepped out of one food stall before hurrying into the next one.

For me, Korean cuisine has always had a very unique flavour. It is the sizzle of an aromatic barbecue or the crispy fried chicken and the slurp of diners whilst savouring hot soup in the cold weather. Believe me, aside from an amazing variety of aromatic Korean delicacies, you will certainly be fascinated by the signature sounds and drinking culture that is unique to Seoul.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Hanoi in my heart

Hanoi in my heart

There is a saying in a movie that resonates with me a lot: “All human beings have three lives, a public life, a private life and a secret life”. A moment from my ‘secret’ life suddenly flashed through my mind. The place in which I sat was buzzing though made me feel a little nostalgic, it held so many of my treasured secrets. My heart tells me that there is no other place that it could be other than the beautiful city of Hanoi.

[rpi]

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Hanoi in my heart

Hanoi has always held a unique beauty for both travellers and Hanoians. This is the reason why I, as well as many other people, have fallen head over heels in love with Hanoi.

HANOI – A LAND EMBROILED IN NOSTALGIA

Hanoi, a city dating back thousands of years, is wrapped in warmth, peace and serenity. The city oozes a distinctive elegance and a gentle charm that exudes from every winding alley. The ancient capital is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of Saigon, the refreshing city of Da Nang or mesmerising Sapa which is surrounded by lush green hills and mountains, in this respect, Hanoi does not seem so outstanding.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Hanoi in my heart

Nevertheless, the city is home to an impressive maze of ancient streets, historical relics of arduous war and the idyllic pace of daily life. Hanoi may be a calm and tranquil city, but I am sure that it is the eccentricities of the Vietnamese capital that give the city its splendidly quirky charisma.

You can find pockets of quiet on every street corner. If you ask me where you can feel at peace in Hanoi, I can show you how exquisitely tranquil Hanoi is. Going for a run every morning around Hoan Kiem Lake whilst observing the elderly partaking in exercise classes and joyful dances. Sipping a glass of cool iced tea under the shade of a large tree on a sultry afternoon. Hanoi is perhaps most peaceful at sunset, watching as the sun gradually sinks lower and hopping on a motorbike for a tour around the West Lake whilst devouring delicious ice cream. Hanoi for me is beautiful in its own way. There is no need for anything magnificent or luxurious, but I left my heart in Hanoi.

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Hanoi in my heart

I still clearly remember that when I was in primary school, my classmates and I would often leave school to explore the nearby old streets. There were only a few small streets close by, such as Dinh Liet, Ma May and Luong Ngoc Quyen, but we always got lost. It is said that Hanoi is somewhat of a maze due to its intertwined streets. Nonetheless, I still have an exhilarating impression of a beautiful city.

A moment to reminisce again filled me with nostalgia. A few years ago, there was not a walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hang Be Market was still teeming with vendors and purchasers in the afternoon. I am not sure whether it was just me, but I sometimes crave to hear the sound of local speakers sounding from every street corner. “This is a radio station of Hang Bac Ward”, their familiar voice which was formerly the alarm call, but now it was just a distant memory. Ten years had passed. Hanoi is now much more modern than it used to be. Sometimes, I am afraid that my familiar Hanoi will disappear which is the reason why I hold on tight to all of my dear memories as Hanoi is gradually flourishing and developing.

MY LOVE FOR A DIVERSIFIED HANOI

Wanderlust Tips magazine | Hanoi in my heart

There is a very clear difference between the Hanoian styles, then and now. According to the old generation, Hanoi changed very quickly. It has been becoming more crowded and dynamic since my childhood. There are no longer as many toy stalls, lots of CD and book shops are disappearing and in some areas, it is becoming more difficult to see street vendors. Modern streets are becoming more and more popular. Most interestingly, the city is quickly filling with buildings and even skyscrapers.

Modern Hanoi sometimes makes me so mad. The roads and streets are dusty, crowded and you often get stuck in traffic and wet in the rain. This is when I have a strong desire for a more civilised, orderly and airy place. Nevertheless, I have to honestly say that I could never leave Hanoi.

Whenever I have left the city for a few days or months, Hanoi is always on my mind. I miss being immersed in the crowded roads with vehicles, wandering around sidewalk eateries or cafes and hearing the familiar sounds on every Hanoian street. These nostalgic experiences give me incredible peace even when I escape from the hustle and bustle in the heart of Hanoi.

Aside from some of the negative changes, Hanoi is increasingly developing, it is turning from a peaceful capital into a bustling metropolis. I am particularly proud that foreign tourists and their countries have a positive outlook on Hanoi. Visitors to the city are extremely amazed and admire the historical Hanoian landmarks, for instance, Turtle Tower, Hoan Kiem Lake, One Pillar Pagoda, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and Hoa Lo Prison.

Additionally, Western Street or Foreign Street conjures something new and unique in Hanoi. The vibrant street is flooded with people and restaurants or pubs famous for signature Vietnamese cuisine. Hanoi has people falling head over heels in love with its wide range of new attractions for a vibrant nightlife. As time goes by, I have adapted to the changes in Hanoi and have to fall in love with all these new things. After all, Hanoi is still beautiful in my mind and heart.

I fell in love with Bangkok

I have visited Thailand three or four times and I have always chosen to travel via Bangkok – the iconic epicentre of Thailand, as the arrival and departure point on my itinerary. Every time I visit, Bangkok really surprises me due to its unique beauty that oozes elegance and somewhat vibrant charm.

BANGKOK FOR THE FIRST TIME: FLEETINGLY GLAMOROUS

Wanderlust Tips magazine | I fell in love with Bangkok

When I first came to Bangkok, I found that it was not too dissimilar to Vietnam. The beautiful city is packed full of small boutique shops lining the pavements and is home to a terrific maze of winding streets. Only after spending more time in Bangkok, did I really feel how unique and charming the city truly is.

Bangkok was delightfully peaceful early in the morning as I wandered through a street on which the stores had not opened yet and everyone seemed to be in a rush to go to their offices and schools. The capital is also an ideal destination for both domestic and international Buddhists thanks to its stunningly beautiful temples.

I had already hopped on an old bus to get to Wat Pho. The bus caught my eye because of its old-fashioned design, the old seats, the windows without any glass and the lack of air conditioning. The dilapidated bus crossed the silent streets of the capital and stopped near the oldest temple in Thailand.

Wat Pho, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, has always been a must-see sight for me when travelling to Thailand. The temple is famous for its giant gold-plated reclining Buddha statue that has been formed meticulously in a distinctive style. Only when I entered the temple and noticed the domestic and foreign Buddhists and the peaceful scenery, did I have a better understanding of the spiritual beauty of the Thai people.

I really enjoyed my time in Bangkok as I had the chance to browse the amazing variety of shopping centres. If you wish to splash your cash on luxury products, then Bangkok is the place to shop for all kinds of world-class brands. Alternatively, if you are passionate about Thai products, then there is an abundance of popular markets for you to rummage through for the best bargains.

It would be no exaggeration to say that Bangkok is the most splendid shopping paradise in Asia. I have to admit that I have travelled to many different places, but nowhere makes me as excited and happy as Bangkok. With just a few days in the city, I felt like my time passed by in the blink of an eye, but it was just enough for me to scratch the surface and know that this would be a city I would be heading back to many more times.

MY LATTER TRIPS TO BANGKOK

Every time I come to Bangkok, I experience something very different. Bangkok was first etched in my memory because of its Buddhist culture and many amusement spots, nonetheless, the capital is now opting for a quite different style. When I first cycled through the small alleys of Bangkok, I realised how exhilarating the local life is.

There is row upon row of beautiful houses sat side by side lining every alleyway, be sure to concentrate or you will get lost in an incredible maze of nooks and crannies. Despite occupying a small amount of square footage, it is the living and trading place for many Thai people. Small noodle stores dotted about the alleyway, look closer and spot the clothes racks neatly balancing out the back.

My impression of Bangkok then changed very quickly as I stood on the top of King Power Mahanakhon to admire the cityscape at sunset. A far cry from the hectic and chaotic alleys, viewing the city from above gave me an extremely different outlook on Bangkok. The city oozes modern and sparkling glamour. In the spectacular twilight, Bangkok glistened with a plethora of towering buildings, dazzling advertisements and long lines of traffic illuminating the streets as they stretched across the city.

It turns out that Bangkok, as well as many other major cities, bears its own distinctive features. Despite being wrapped in an exhilarating difference, I did not feel overwhelmed getting around Bangkok because everything in the city strikes a delicate balance.

From the small alleyways, you just take a short walk to the main roads or you can easily catch sight of street food trucks sitting at the foot of a modern skyscraper. Bangkok can be a slow burner, but as soon as you realise its beauty, you will fall head over heels in love with Bangkok. I love this city with all my heart, both its stunning views and hectic chaos.
