During the last days of the year, when the weather is cold and people are busy, we fail to notice time flying by. But then one afternoon, we happen upon a flower vendor selling peach blossoms in the streets. Fragile branches with delicate pink blossoms, dew drops lingering on their petals. These small spots of colour spread warmth that does away with the cold and bleak atmosphere of winter. The New Year arrives! Spring is knocking on the door!

Spring arrives bearing Hope, Luck and Happiness. It fills the air with the age-old scent of coriander during an afternoon at the year’s end when the family gathers around the warm, simple and beloved stove cooking Chung cake.

Spring is the season of festivals, of sacred pilgrimages from North to South, to distant regions throughout the first three months of the year. For our early spring travel, we are looking at sites that are home to adorable monkeys, those distant relatives of us humans. We offer abundant traditional dishes and stories of unique travel experiences by travel enthusiasts.
