Designed by Huong Hoai Nguyen – a very well-known artist and interior designer for a lot of Vietnamese-inspired architecture, The Odys Boutique Hotel inspires tranquillity and inner peace from the very moment guests step through the door. The hotel wishes to deliver the best quality hospitality with timeless cedar-wood furniture, reminding us of the affluent Vietnamese wooden estates that used to exist. The décor is inspired by the colours of the interiors and the lightning of the old Western houses, giving guests a familiarity away from home.
Follow the wooden frames as you head towards the rooms, designed with space and comfort in mind, yet still warmly welcoming. The draped curtains over the bed in each room replicate the dust covers used by Vietnamese noble families. Their presence in each room wholeheartedly intends to create a sense of noble service.
Moreover, the walls of each room are decorated with signature French colonial patterned tiles. Since the end of the 19th century, these patterned tiles, along with the French, have become entrained into the memories of a whole Vietnamese generation. It is also the way The Odys Boutique Hotel commemorates “The Pearl of the Orient” Saigon.
