This was a very significant narrative for Hitchin Lavender’s establishment as we know it today, and Hitchin Lavender has welcomed thousands of people from all over the world through farm gates every year since those early days.

Lavender typically blooms from the middle to the end of June, with the peak months being July and August. As a result, during peak season, Mayfield Lavender Farm can get crowded on weekends; if possible, arrange a midweek visit.

Mayfield Lavender, on the other hand, appears to be a storage facility for the excellent Mayfield shop and coffee bar in Epsom, which is open all year. It’s chock-full of best-selling lavender goods, new product lines, English wines, gift ideas, a home range, and other pleasures. The coffee shop also serves hot drinks, sandwiches, and delectable locally produced cakes.
