This November, wine connoisseurs in Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City will have the opportunity to meet 8 leading winemakers and 15 winemaking castles’ owners of Bordeaux as the team of Bordeaux Oxygène pay their first visit to Vietnam.

Located in southwest France, Bordeaux is one of the most prestigious and famous wine-producing regions in the world, where dazzlingly beautiful vineyards make the most sought-after and finest wine. Excellent quality, unique style, and huge output can be considered the leading factors to establish the reputation of Bordeaux wine.
In order to maintain Bordeaux’s reputation and influence in the constantly changing and developing world of wine, some winemakers and heirs of wine mansions in Bordeaux founded Bordeaux Oxygène Association in the early 21st century. Harmonizing traditional values and the reform of the modern winemaking industry, Bordeaux Oxygène shows the public a fresh look of Bordeaux, the place that is no longer rigid and conservative, where young and promising generations inherit the traditions and live up to the reputation.
As a strategic partner of Bordeaux Oxygène, Red Apron Fine Wines & Spirits, one of Vietnam’s leading wine distributors, will bring wine connoisseurs a series of events from in-depth discussions with 8 winemakers to grand wine-tasting parties in 3 cities.
At the wine-tasting session, guests can enjoy 40 premium kinds of Bordeaux wines produced from 15 wine mansions in the most prestigious sub-regions of Bordeaux such as Pessac-Léognan, Saint-Estephe, Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, in which the most remarkable are the Château Clos Fourtet and the Château Malartic-Lagravière. Château Clos Fourtet is rated Premier Grand Cru Classé in the Classification of Saint-Émilion wine, featured with the ancient small fort covered with ivy flowers and one of the largest wine cellars in Bordeaux. Located in Pessac-Léognan, Château Malartic-Lagravière is one of the only six Bordeaux Château’s that was rated in the Graves classification in 1953 for both of their red and white wines.
